Yashaswini Jain

Yashaswini Jain is a multi-instrumentalist, DJ producer, and educator based in Gurgaon. She completed a Berklee transfer program at the International College of Music, Malaysia, specialising in Bass Performance, and holds Grade 5 certifications in Piano and Music Theory from Trinity College London. She is also certified in DJ Production using Ableton Live and has completed a summer program at Musicians Institute, Los Angeles, USA. Her training has been shaped by mentors across disciplines, including learning bass from Rahul Rai, vocals from Sentirenla Lucia, and she currently studies guitar under senior Delhi-based educator Gussy Rikh.Yashaswini’s musical style draws from R&B, jazz, fusion, and pop. She has been actively performing with bands since 2020 across Malaysia and the Delhi NCR region, and was awarded the Best Performer Award three times during her time at ICOM. She was a beatboxer for the Western Music Society at Lady Shri Ram College, with whom she participated and won several competitions across Delhi University and other festivals across India, including Mood Indigo at IIT Bombay and Oasis at BITS Pilani.Alongside performing, Yashaswini has been teaching music privately since 2020, both online and in person. She specialises in Music Theory, Contemporary and Traditional Harmony, and Aural Skills, and teaches Guitar, Beginner Piano, and Bass. Having been exposed to diverse teaching styles during her studies in Malaysia and the US, she adapts her approach to each student’s goals and learning style while maintaining a strong curriculum and clear progression path. Passionate about music education, she is dedicated to nurturing confident, curious, and musically independent young artists.
